NDT Inspection

 Non Destructive Testing (NDT)
เทคนิคการทดสอบแบบไม่ทำลาย คือ กรรมวิธีที่ใช้ค้นหารอยบกพร่องหรือความผิดปกติใดๆ ที่มีอยู่ในชิ้นงาน โดยที่ไม่ทำให้เกิดความเสียหายขึ้นกับชิ้นงานนั้น ซึ่งต่อไปนี้รอยบกพร่องหรือความผิดปกติใดๆ ที่กล่าวถึงนี้จะเรียกโดยรวมว่า ความไม่ต่อเนื่อง (Discontinuity)ได้แก่
– การตรวจสอบด้วยสารแทรกซึม (Penetrant Testing; PT) 
– การทดสอบโดยวิธีภาพถ่ายรังสี (Radiographic Testing; RT)
– การทดสอบโดยคลื่นความถี่เหนือเสียง (Ultrasonic Testing; UT)
– การทดสอบโดยวิธีอนุภาคแม่เหล็ก (Magnetic particle Testing, MT)
